CHOOSE A RESOLUTION
When you are working digitally, image resolution is something you have to consider. While the range is infinite, two numbers to know are
72 dpi for web and
300 dpi for print. And dpi (dots per inch) is the same as ppi (pixels per inch). Open a file in Photoshop and zoom in to see the pixels that make up the image.
And remember, resolution can be decreased but not increased without sacrificing image quality.
