CHANGE YOUR BLADE

As a designer you will be making lots of presentations in your career so cleanly cutting and mounting is an important skill. The first trick is to go slow, never rush when it comes to cutting. Use a ruler and pencil to cut and measure and always start with a sharp blade. For thick board cut lightly 3 or 4 times rather than trying to power through on one swipe. And scissors are only for cutting fabric and hair. Watch this tutorial about how to successfully cut with an X-Acto knife.
