Ursula von Rydingsvard‘sĀ sculpture entitled Ona has just been installed outside the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. This 20-foot tall bronze sculpture was originally created in cedar, Rydingsvard’s medium of choice. So far the response has been positive which I think says a lot for the audience in Brooklyn. While it is beautiful and the scale makes it awe-inspiring it is not a traditional choice for art outside a sports arena. This weekend hop on the subway and see what you think.
